How long did it take you (or your wife) to get pregnant with your second child?

My husband and I are planning to get pregnant with our 2nd child this summer and I want to try to plan this pregnancy more than our 1st. (It took us 9 months to get pregnant the 1st time.) I know it's all a crap shoot any time you try to get pregnant, but many of my friends tell me that it was much easier to get pregnant the 2nd & 3rd time than the 1st.

What do you guys think?

it took me 4 months with number 2. numbers 1 and 3 were not planned,so I have nothing to compare it to.

My co-worker who has been trying to get pregnant for about 9 months now, still has no good news. I feel bad because I got pregnant unexpectedly. I wasn't even trying for I just had a baby.

Anyways, she was on DEPO for 9 years, Then on pills for a year and half.

She knows when she is ovulating but for some reason the sperm just don't meet the egg. Should she see a specialist since she is timing everything right and nothing is happening.

I was on the pill for 7 years and got pregnant 3 months after coming off. I also used Preseed, it's a lube that helps the sperm travel safely to the egg if you don't have enough cervical mucous to help the sperm along yourself.
