I had unprotected sex with my fiancee' three days after my period ended and I was wondering if I could get pregnant..
Answer
Of course. Day one of your cycle is the first day you have your period. You ovulate around day 14. Key word is "AROUND". Say your menses lasts 6 days, add 3 days for when you had sex, add 3 days for sperm life span, then say you ovulate a day or two early... Voila!
You are more than likely not pregnant, but there are a lot of kids in this world due to the "Timing" method. I know a few of them.
Two more days and I would have just responded, "Congratulations!".

Answer
Dear Elizabeth, It's possible, depending on how long your period is and how determined and long lived his sperm are. For example, if you have a longer 7 day period, you would have had sex on day 9 of your cycle. Ovulation typically happens on day 14, although some women may ovulate a few days sooner or later. Problem is, sperm can live for several days inside you, up to 5-7 days, searching for that egg. The most fertile time of a woman's menstrual cycle is the few days just before and after ovulation. Ovulation usually happens 14 days before the first day of your period. If you have a regular 28-day cycle, ovulation happens in the middle of the cycle (about 14 days after your period starts). However, if your cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days, it's harder to predict when you will ovulate and be most fertile. If your cycle is very short and your period lasts for 5 to 7 days, conception could occur from intercourse during your period. So dear there is a big chance that you can get pregnant since you had multiple sexual moments with your BF, that increased your chance did not decreased it. So if you are trying too well... if not well.. too we are April 11th so if you want ton take the chance it's yours to take if not you only have 72 hours for plan B. PLEASE IF YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO GET PREGNANT PLEASE USE PROTECTION BIRTH CONTROL OR CONDOMS OR BOTH SINCE BIRTH CONTROL DOES NOT PROTECT YOU FROM ST-D'S. GOOD LUCK BEST WISHES HOPE FOR THE BEST.
PS: How Many days was your period? as I said b4, woman may have intercourse toward the end of her period and, depending on the length of her cycle, ovulate a few days later. "You could technically be at the end of your period, ovulate two or three days later, and the sperm is still there. And you could get pregnant. Not likely, but possible. Also I just add you on my watch list just in case you need more information dear. Stress will create issues for you please don't stress if in doubt what to do please ask me directly will be glad to help you..<3 XXX
