tips on getting pregnant with irregular periods image

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. We've tried everything. Every ovulation and pregnancy test we've taken has been negative. Its very stressful and our friends just think we are trying to hard. But I've always had irregular periods and I've been on and off b.c. So are we trying to hard?

I skip months at a time..I was taking birth control to regulate it but then I got off it and my period went right back to being irregular. Do you think I'll have a difficult time getting pregnant?
I'm not trying to conceive yet btw but I'm just wondering if you have any tips or what your opinions are. Thanks!

In my experience - extremely hard. I saw a spacialist and underwent various forms of fertility treatments and it took 4 years with my first (i do not have pcos, am not overweight, premenopausal or have any known condition).
I did however fall pregnant naturally and have a 2 year old son. I have been trying for 6 months with number 2 but have only had 2 or 3 periods in this time.
My advice is to start tracking everything well in advance so you might get a better idea of when you are ovulating when you do start trying.
I also bought the maybe baby ovulation tester but it doesnt seem to be doing me any good.
