MOMS: What does your child does that is really weird or disturbing?

my oldest makes really annoying animal noises in the morning to wake me up...i hate it. he also does that to let me know he wants something if i ignore him.

my 12 year old changes her voice (purposely) during her little outbursts to chipmunk, deep manly voice, baby voice.. I think she can't control herself. it's freaking funny, though.
What can I say.. we're all crazy here.

Why would my dog jump up and bark at the tv?

She jumps up when there's an animal moving, standing, making noise or even a baby and sometimes humans too. She's 2 years old and she always runs back to our couch like she's scared or maybe she's jealous! She's not good with other dogs so does that have something to do with it? Do you think she's scared or jealous?
Is there a solution to it?
Thanks for some of your great answers! they have helped we had thought of some of them but we just didnt know if it really was the right thing to do!

She's not scared, and she's not jealous...She's simply overprotective...
She's protecting her turf from intruders and her lack of socialization (yep, it's your fault) causes her to recognize people and animals on the tv as a threat...
Please do her a favor ? Find a beginners obedience class in your area...She needs to be introduced to new people and new dogs and experiences...Stretch her mind a bit, o.k. ?
