I've lost 3 pregnancies so far and my husband and I want to start trying again. do different sexual positions make a difference in conception? and are there any foods that make a difference? please HELP ME

The missionary position has been said to be the best position for sperm retention. Also, after your husband ejaculates, it would help to sit a pillow underneath your bottom and remain in that position for a few minutes to minimize leakage. Some research has shown that if the female partner has an orgasm right after her male partner, her body retatins more sperm (altho this is almost impossible, lol). There are no foods that I know of that have a significant effect on fertility however, you can speak to your doctor about fertility drugs. If you would rather not revert to this choice just yet, track your cycle or buy an ovulation predictor. A woman really only has 24 hours to get pregnant after ovulation (egg releases from ovary) so you have to work fast!

I know this must be scary for you. Iâm 16 also, and I canât imagine how difficult it would be to be in your position! <3
Taking care of a baby isn't easy, and it's even harder when you are young, but it CAN be done. There are many resources and people who would be willing to help you out. If you provide information on where you live, I can get you information on programs in your area to help you through this process. One nationwide program is the Alternatives Pregnancy Center; they can get you help both before and after the delivery. Many of their locations provide pregnancy tests, medical scans, ultrasounds, and help you in adoption process if you wish to go that route. You could try a google search to find one in your area.
Since you are so young, you might feel like you aren't ready to take care of a child yourself. I would urge you to seriously consider adoption over abortion.
Although many people will probably tell you to have an abortion and get it over with- medical studies have shown that abortion can result in serious medical and mental side affects that would negatively impact you for years to come. Not only does abortion completely eliminate your babyâs life, it also increases the chances of you becoming infertile. I know so many poor ladies who have gone through abortions, and suffered from severe mental depression for years afterwards as a result. Believe me, itâs not something you want to have to go through.
But thereâs good news!
Choosing adoption allows your baby to be put in a good home where he or she can be loved and cared for (you would even get to help in the process of choosing parents!) while still allowing you to pursue your life and careers. Many times, there is the option for an open adoption, which means that you would still get to visit the baby and be a part of his/herâs life.
Also good news- the majority of adoption agencies do not charge anything to put a child up for adoption. On top of that, most agencies offer financial assistance for prenatal and delivery expenses. Adoption agencies are increasing in number and easier to access than ever.
