I'm pregnant and I keep drinking milk! Is this alright?

Q. I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant and I have morning sickness. It's most awful in the afternoon to evenings (I tend to throw up then). I find that I crave milk ALL the time. I'll drink a glass in the morning and I feel that it reduces/eases the acids in my stomach or something, maybe because it coats it? I don't know, but my husband told me that milk could be part of the reason I throw up. I'm unsure if I should keep drinking it or not. What do you think?

i was pregnant with twins and HORRIBLY sick for over 5 months. all i could keep down was strawberry milk (by the gallon) and frozen pizza. if the milk was causing the vomiting it would probably happen with in a few minutes or an hour after drinking it, not later in the day/evening. speak to your dr if you are worried. trust me i know, i was sick all day every day. smells would make me puke as would the sound of a cracker bag. if it is really bad and you have trouble keeping anything down or you start to lose too much weight there are medications for extreme cases. but i highly doubt it is the milk making you sick. (MY dr said it was good that it was something i could keep down as it has many nutrients and vitamins in it, i drink whole milk)

I am 34 weeks pregnant, and I no longer work. My husband and I decided that I should stay at home with the baby when she is born. The problem is that I' ve been at home for a while now, and I'm bored. I was hoping that someone could give me at home project ideas. I need some kind of hobby, or something to keep me busy until the baby comes. I am getting restless. I keep going through the baby's clothes and other things. I really need something to keep me busy for the next 6 weeks. Any ideas will be highly appreciated. By the way I am having a girl if this has anything to do with your answers. Thanks!

Well, you definitely don't want to obsess over the baby just yet... it makes the last few weeks take forever!!! Trust me, i'm 38 weeks pregnant with my second child. The last month or two always seem to take the longest.

Try doing things to take your mind off of the pregnancy--but not completely! Its really hard to do but you'll be surprised how well it works. Still do your research, decorate the babies room and mentally prepare, but set aside time for mommy. THIS WILL ALSO BE IMPORTANT AFTER YOU HAVE THE BABY!!! Go for a walk or two every day. its great exercise and helps move the baby into position, plus gives you stamina for labor. Read books, watch movies, check out funny websites, go out with your friends while you still can, anything that you found fun before you got pregnant you can still do now (save the cosmos when you're out to eat lol).

You might want to spend some more quality time with your partner too. You'll be surprised how neglected your relationship can get in the first few months after a baby arrives. Have lots of sex... not only is it fun but it will help with delivery too. The semen helps ripen your cervix, and the "activity" down there helps to stretch you a little in preparation for delivery. He can massage your area with KY jelly, especially the perineum . This prevents some ripping and the need for an eppisiotomy (i don't know how to spell it).

I have been with my husband a little over 3 years and we have been trying to conceive a baby. I have tired taking prenatal I weight 185 and still losing weight to get to a healthy weight, sex positions, having sex before and after my period, I use to have irregular periods but they finally got straighten out a few years back. I have been eating healthier. We really want to start our own family and its just not happening. I don't really understand the ovulation calculator so if you understand that will you explain it to me? and give me tips on trying to get pregnant or things I need to do different? Am I stressing to much and is that part of the reason? please help me out with this I have looked it up and its just gives me sites to buy pills to help get pregnant or feritly treatment centers. We have talked about the fertility center but those are just so expensive these days that nobody can afford those or even the test to see if you can have a baby. And in both my family and my hubbys they are all really fertile my hubands dad has 4 kids his grandma had 8 kids and on my family side they have always had 2 kids or more

To find out when you are most fertile to conceive and so when you should have sex, chart your cycle. You can check out fertilityfriend.com to find out how to do it manually or buy and ovulation kit. The latter can be a bit expensive, but it is the easiest method. To chart manually, use this formula X-14=Y

X = The number of days your cycle is
Y= The day that you ovulate

e.g. if you have a 25 day cycle, then 25-14=11, so you are likely to ovulate on Day 11 of your cycle.

For greater accuracy, you should montior your cervical discharge too. These may sound very complicated, but it is not. Not that I fully understood what I was doing, but because I read that this is the most recommended method, so I went along with it.

You are not timing your intercourse right by baving sex before and after your period. Doctors will usually give you a medical assessment if you haven't been successful after 12 months of regular trying but you need to show that you have been charting and doing it at the right time of the month first.

Stress definitely can inhibit your ability to get pregnant, so it will be difficult to do, but you got to relax and not think about how to get pregnant too much. Regular exercise will help you lose weight as well as destress, so make sure you set up a routine and stick to your exercise regime.

Your diet will have implications too, so eat heathily . Green leafy veg, fruits and wholemeal are highly recommended.

Most women who have no serious infertility issues will be able to get pregnant by losing weight and modifying your lifestyle and habits.

hey, names Kayla im 21 and i want to have a baby. well my periods are really really irregular. I could get my period on the 3rd of march lets say and not get it again till like the 28th of April. and it varies in between then as well. I really want to have a baby. so how can someone have a baby that has irregular periods? i've tried having sex like the day after my period ends everyday until i get it and nothing, I have tried the ovaluation kits and all that stuff and nothing works. I mean granted yes I smoke and I'm trying to cut back and I drink maybe 1-2 times a week so its not that much. anyone have any tips?

okay well my cousin was 15 when the doctor told her she would never have kids, she maybe got 2 periods a year. and today shes 29 and her son will be 3 this year and she still doesnt get a period so i would say no. you should be fine. And I wish you the best of luck.

Okay, so i know HOW to get pregnant, but me and my husband have been trying every month since january to have a baby, & for some reason it's just not clicking. I didn't feel like it'd take this long, but i know sometimes the stars have to be aligned for it to happen. Hello Amanda , the best way you can get pregnant easier is to calculate your ovulation days, buy a Clearblue 20 digital test at Wal-Mart , CVS , Walgreens or even online if you want. Test yourself everyday after your menstrual cycle ends, for example if your period last 5 days, you start testing on day 6 and so on, you do this and a happy face will appear for sure between day 10 to day 14 of your cycle, and that day you have unprotected sex, I used the one with the 3 options, the blank face O , the flashing happy face , and the Happy face NOT flashing (meaning your about to ovulate during the next 24 hours) .
Trust me the best way to get pregnant is to have sex during those 2 days of ovulation, Clear blue will tell you which ones are your 2 days if you test everyday until you have a happy face you stop using it and start all over the next month if you don't get pregnant .

What food can my 12 month old baby eat?

By the time my two-year-old was a year, he was basically eating everything I ate, but in smaller pieces. I like the peas and carrots mix for that age because the size of the vegetables are good for finger feeding and chewing. I also cut up veggie dogs slices, then in halves then I cut the halves again. Whole wheat pasta, cooked soft, is good, too. (We use the short noodles, penne, rigatoni, macaroni. I like them better than the longer noodles, too, as they are easier to eat. I do not like getting pasta in restaurants as it's usually spaghetti or linguini and not easy to eat.) Whole wheat bread, canned fruit (it's softer than fresh)... Cheerios, fruit and grain bars (we buy the Trader Joe's bars as they are cheaper than other brands and all-natural and organic). We also buy wheat saltines (they are a white flour, whole wheat flour mix) and even oyster crackers for him. He doesn't get those daily, but as treats for when I want him to be quiet and still (more or less) like in the car or at church.

We never bought things like Gerber Graduates because they are just a marketing scam. The products are expensive and filled with unnatural ingredients like white flour, artificial colors, etc.

We spent the first two years of our kids' lives exposing them to whole, real foods. My five-year-old was a few months past her second birthday before she got meat and cheese. (My husband is neither vegetarian nor vegan. He mostly buys his meat and cheese from the local meat market. The family raises their pigs and cows organically and as humanely as possible.) Even now, she doesn't get it daily. (She gets one scrambled egg when she spends the night at my in-laws' as a treat.) My son has gotten it only because he grabbed it off of tables when we've been to dinners, or church coffee hours.... They don't even get juice often. When I do give it to my daughter, I cut it with water. When my husband makes frozen juice, he puts in more water than the recommendation. (We did start our two-year-old with things like white bread, cookies, candy, even juice a bit sooner than our daughter because he would see his sister eat them and it didn't seem fair to deny him. Being the youngest myself, I might be a bit biased. We've not, however, intentionally started him on meat, cheese and eggs.

I've not had problems with pickiness, or refusal of eating real foods, etc. Both kids know that things like cake, candy, etc. are treats and not daily food. I'm not a short order cook and if the kids don't want something after it's been served (and even after they chose it), they don't eat. I've seen many questions on here and in magazines, etc. from parents complaining that their child will not eat certain foods and throws a fit. However, once Mommy and Daddy lose their spines and gives the kid what he wants (generally, it seems to be junk "food"), the kid happily eats. That's when I wonder who the parent is.

So i've heard at 12 months, babies can stop having formula/breastmilk and be switched solely to food.

My daughter is nearly 11 months, and it just doesn't seem like she could subsist off only food in 4 weeks!

Like, she eats, and she'll eat almost everything I give her, but she doesn't eat a lot at all. So how does this work? Do I just give her as much as she'll eat, and offer her milk (we'll be using almond milk instead of cow milk) and water whenever in a sippy cup or something? Will she eat more once she stops getting breastmilk in a bottle? Do I need to do it gradually? For example, start out removing 1 bottle a day and replacing with something else?

If you're breastfeeding nothing changes at all. If you're formula-feeding stop the formula and use almond milk instead, and make sure she gets enough avocados, green leafy vegetables, flax seed oil, ground nuts etc for the fats as well as her other food.

You don't have to stop giving her breastmilk. Best not to take her off it until she's 3. Definitely don't replace human breastmilk with almond milk. I mean sure, being 12 months gives permission to replace formula with something better and baby can finally get enough nutrition from solids, and it won't devastate baby's intestinal tract, but definitely don't replace breastmilk. Slowly she'll want less of it, but let her take the lead. No need to even introduce almond milk - even for on cereal breastmilk is the superior choice. Leave that for when she's older and wants milk and you're not breastfeeding anymore.

Can I become pregnant if I had unprotected sex the day before my period started?

You see I have been really stressed and I totally spaced on taking my birth control for four days straight and I had unprotected sex on the fourth day. I'm right in the middle of my pills where I'm supposed to be ovulating but because I missed those pills I started my period over a week early. Could I still get pregnant even though I started my period the day after? Thank you for your time.

yes you can get pregnant because it was the day before your period the same with getting pregnant on your period it is all possible.......even if he didnt cum in you, you can still get pregnant from precum and that is no joke.......and you have to wait at least a month to test to be pregnant.....believe me i had that happen to me where i tested two weeks later and it said i wasnt.....then i tested about three weeks later and guess what i am due august 23rd......wait about a month and test and if it is negative then you are in the clear.....my cousin and my aunt had there actual period all through out there pregnancies so it is possible to have a period while pregnant.....

If there was no ejaculation and you got your period as normal then its highly unlikely you are pregnant.

There is only one 24hr period in your cycle you can get pregnant and this is around ovulation..if you want to get pregnant have unprotected sex 7 days before and after ovulation..which is usually in the middle of your cycle approx 14 days from the 1st day of your period if you have a 28 day cycle.

If you dont want a baby use contraception

I have endo as well and am five weeks pregnant after 18months of trying with our first child..... My husband has been taking Zinc supplements for the last few months as this is suppose to help his swimmers, lots of protein foods such as eggs and nuts for both you and your partner will help, try having sex just before bedtime and stay lying down without getting up to go to the toilet etc to give more sperm a chance of getting up there and ALSO try and orgasm at the same time as your partner as the spasms inside you will propel the sperm up inside you!! Good luck with it!!! Be patient, it will happen it just might not happen straight away :)
If you have not already had a laproscopy to remove the lining that has made its way outside the uterus this would be something I would look into as well, I have had two in the last 3 years and so far the lining has not come back!

Vitex or chaste berry has an excellent track record in relieving complaints in women, caused by hormonal imbalances, known as Premenstrual Syndrome. It may also be helpful for women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) who do not have a normal menstrual cycle. These women thus donât ovulate or menstruate and cannot get pregnant. The condition when a woman does not have any menstruation at all is known as amenorrhea.

hey! my hubby and i have decided to try and get pregnant... only problem is i have pcos. what are some tips we could use? I have pcos and when we decided we were ready for a baby we went right to a fertility specialist. Like you, I don't have periods at all unless I'm on the pill, so I felt there was no point in us spending time "just trying".

However, the website above does have some ideas for natural pregnancy with pcos if you'd like to try that before fertility.

My fertility doctor put me on metformin (a good idea that you can ask your GP about), and then we tried clomid for the first 3 months and it didn't work for me. The fourth month we tried Gonal F injections and IUI and I got pregnant!

I have pcos and have recently ordered fertibella. My LMP was on Christmas eve and it lasted 6 days. I am pretty sure I have ovulated because of the signs your body gives out and my prayer is that I have already conceived and I wont even have to take the pills. But anyway can you give me any tips in case I did not get pregnant?

I have PCOS and currently TTC. Metformin helps with your insulin and even helps women with PCOS regulate their cycles.. but sometimes that isn't enough. Clomid would be something you should talk to your doctor about. Also check out Inositol supplement, that helps as well.. make sure you are also on a good prenatal vitamin. Keep in mind, Clomid doesn't help all women with PCOS. If you have insulin resistance, you can also be Clomid resistant.. but don't give up hope there are other medicines and options for you..
I don't know anything about Fertibella.. but I would just talk to your doctor about what would work for your body. Clomid may help or Femara.. if those don't you may need an HSG to see if you have a blockage in your tubes or an injury to your tubes or uterus.

yes! Prec*m can get you pregnant. It is a very slim chance, but it happens. You need to get on birth control right away (if you are not already, if you are not and are to embarrassed to ask your parents go to your local planned parenthood or health clinic and they can get you birth control without your parents knowing) And your boyfriend needs to wear a condom every single time you fool around, even if you do not have intercourse. And he needs to wear a condom if you give him oral sex (most girls do not know that but STDs can be transferred through oral sex)

Why is my 6 month old making strange noises?

My daughter is 6 months old and for the past few days she is making a most bizarre sound. Its like she is trying to scream or shout but no noise comes out kind of like when you shout but have lost your voice like a goose or whatever bird makes that strange noise.

she is smiling and making her other normal noises, just wondering if any other mothers have experienced this?

is this just a new noise she has discovered or do you think it could be a sore throat or something?

My 6 month old does the same thing! It's like she is trying to let out one of her loud, happy squeals, but no sound comes out! My doctor said it's totally normal as long as she is still making other noises. Good luck and congrats on your baby girl!

Have they checked her for Sandifer's Syndrome... They thought my daughter might have had this because she had a really bad reflux problem and made very very similar noises to the noise your daughter is making in the video but other than the noise my daughter didn't show any signs... Though other signs are stiffing up of the body and eyes rolling.. This is commonly mistaken for a seizure but its really not.. I would DEF ask your daughters doctor if this is a possibility!

QUESTIONS AND TIPS ON NOT GETTING PREGNANT?

I need help. What can I do that will lessen a chance of pregnancy if I had sex? Any tips? What should I do to avoid pregnancy? And also, when is a woman ovulating and most likely to become pregnant, before or after their period?

The best way to not get pregnant is to no have sex, unless you are the virgin mary. Then you are screwed. (pun)

If you are going to have sex, always use birth control. Even better use two kinds of highly effective birth control. A good way to do this is pick one of the following to use: the patch, the pill, depo, or the implant ones. Then make sure to get it renewed when needed or take your pill at the same time (within two hours) every day. ALso, use condoms. If you want to be extra safe, through in some spermicidal foam or spermicidal lube. Just make sure it is safe to use with the condom and won't cause it to tear. (some will).

If for some reason, you miss a pill/shot/patch or the condom breaks, you can always take Plan B (the morning after pill). This thickens cervical mucus so the sperm have a lot of difficulty swimming to the ovum. I would suggest keeping it around just in case, because it is most effective the sooner you take it. So if you could take it immediately after the unprotected sex, you are best off. It does work somewhat for up to 3 days though.



If you are on a 28 day cycle then you will have your period sometime between days 1-7.
Ovulation takes place generally on day 14, but you are most fertile up to 3 days before and 3 days after.

Sperm can survive in your body 2-4 days which is why ovulation is such a long period of time.

By day 26 the lining has detached after "fading" in days 18-25

I've included a handy chart with more info that is curiously enough from a website explaining how to get pregnant.

Less than 1% of women will get pregnant if using the pill, patch, or depo properly.
Less than 2% will get pregnant if using condoms properly
and the morning after pill is up to %89 effective.

so think of it as a 1% chance of getting pregnant while on birth control. the condom reduces that one percent down to .0004%( this is 2% of 1) if used right. and then 11% chance of that .0004% chance which is .000044%. So if you use them all properly. you should be pretty safe.

Getting Pregnant Is Hard Work
We have two kids aged 2 and 4 and this is how it all started.

My husband and I married late ie in our mid and later part of thirty. We knew we wanted to start a family so we went to work immediately. What we didn't realise was that getting pregnant is hard work. The people in the movies always get pregnant so easily but in reality its not that easy. Every month theres only a short window of opportunity (fertile period) where sperm gets the chance to meet egg and get fertilized.

We bought books, among them Dr Miriam Stoppard's "Conception, pregnancy and birth", "What to Expect when you're expecting" by Arlene Eisenberg, Heidi E. Murkoff & Sandee E. Hathaway and a "Pregnancy for Dummies" book. They were all great books and very helpful to a clueless couple like us.

We signed up for Babycenter's conception newsletter. This was amusing. It would send us email reminders of the fertile period. "Tonight is the night for some activities" it said. Actually, I don't remember what the email said but it was amusing nevertheless.

In addition, we also made our own ovulation chart using an ovulation calculator. You can find many of these calculators online. My favourite was the fertility calculator from HealthAtoZ.com because the result was a pretty calander with a rose on the expected ovulation date.

We even charted my Basal Body Temperature (BBT). This involved the husband sticking a thermometer in my mouth the moment I wake up as the chart would not be accurate if you take the temperature after you get up and move about. The temperature would go up after ovulation and you can only see a pattern after several months of charting.

With these methods, we achieved success in 4 months for our first and 1 month for our second. Even our gynaecologist laughed with us when we showed her our charts. She thought we were very hardworking indeed.

One thing I want to add. Making love for making babies can be quite a chore and rather tiring. To achieve a better success rate, you have to do it everyday or every other day during the fertile period. Some pretty lingerie, sweet scents and a sense of humour definitely helps. And of course a mutual desire to have a baby would be good. When you have other kids in the picture, getting the timing right is even harder as you have to either wake up very early or stay up very late to make baby! Yaaawwwwn....

If you really want to give your cat milk, most pet stores carry lactose free milk made especially for cats. This can provide a good substitute to cows' milk and can be a good treat.

Well I will have a 1 months old on Monday! She's always had the most sensitive stomach I've ever dealt with so due to vomit she lost 4 pounds. I'm trying to help her get healthy weight again but I need some help from you guys. Here are a couple of questions that can help me get this baby healthy!

1. How much does a 6.3 pound baby eat per day?

2. How long should each feeding take? Is 15 minutes enough?

3. Should I take her to her doctor to see if she is healthy?

4. Should she be breastfed or should I supplement with formula?

5. How many hours per day should she spend eating?

6. Is she underweight being almost 1 month old and she is 6.3 pounds?

7. If she was born on her due date and weighed 6.7 pounds was she underweight?

8. What health condition is this if she vomits easily and will go about 4 hours without the desire to eat?

9. Is being exclusively breastfed healthier for her or unhealthier?

10. What should I be eating that can help her gain some weight?

1. If your baby is breastfed, it is very hard to determine how much they are eating. I would estimate that most babies are eating between 20-30 oz at this age. There is always a big range because some babies are bigger eaters, weigh more, etc

2. All babies also eat at a different rate. At this age, I would say that most babies are nursingn for about 20 minutes at a sitting. What she _should_ do is empty at least one breast (it should get soft and saggy). She needs the hindmilk at the end of the breast, which is the fatty, nutrient rich part. Most babies will also eat at least part of a second breast. You can encorage her to keep eating by strokign her cheek

3. Yes!! Especially if she is having wt issues! Most drs want to see babies aound this age anyway. I would at the very least call the office and talk to a nurse to see what she says

4. If you are BFing, I would not supplement. It can hurt your milk supply and not necessarily help her wt. Your body will alway smake as much milk as she needs to drink. But really, this is a question for your dr.

5. Varies a lot by child, but most babies nurse 6-8 times a day at this age, for 15-25 minutes each time

6. She is certainly on the low side of the wt curve, under 10%

7. I think that is just slightly on the thin side for a newborn, the average wt being 7-9 lbs, I think

8. The vomitting is most likely due to acid reflux. If it is this bad, the condition should be addressed by a dr. They can not only give you advice, but also medication for severe cases

9. Most people would consider it healthier, because of it being the "natural food", and passing on your antibodies. Numerous studies have suggested the BFing is more healthy for a baby.

10. THere isn't that much you can do to influence it.Your body will rob itself to make sure your milk has the correct vitamins and minerals. Do try to eat healthy and get plenty of protien and calcium. Also take prenatal vitamins still. And of course drink LOTS of fluids

i was 12 weeks when I found out I lostmy baby at 8 weeks due to no heartbeat. I had the d&c done November 1st. my question is what the possibilities for me to get pregnant really soon my doctor said after my first cycle I can try again. but didn't no how long afterwards it could take to convice again. im hoping really soon.

Same thing happened to me. I was 12 weeks in July but there was no heartbeat and mine had stopped developing at 6 weeks so had to have d&c. I had 1 cycle (August 27) and got pregnant now at 14 weeks. Also, chances of carrying healthy baby to delivery after miscarriage (whether you actually miscarried or had a MISSED miscarriage) is 90%

Fertility after a D&C, how likely will I be able to conceive after the procedure?

Hello All, I am a 23 year old female and recently my GYN found multiple endometrial polyps. In three days time I will be undergoing a D&C to remove the polyps. After reading many other answers and various peer reviewed articles, I am still unsure on where fertility stands after the procedure. Many articles say that fertility chances are likely to rise and others say that due to scarring of the tissue it would be impossible. I have never been pregnant or had any miscarriages despite me and my boyfriend of 3 years having unprotected sex (not actively ttc or trying not to). On some unconscious level I always knew there was a problem as I was never able to conceive, and sure enough hopefully the only issue to be found are the polyps. Me and my boyfriend who is 28 and dying to become a father as much as me a mother would be grateful for any advice, feedback, and personal experience to help guide our thoughts. Angel by Shaggy. Except it also makes me happy. It reminds me of my 7 year old kitty that just died on September 17th from a freak blood clot.

So much truth to that.. She was like a best friend and family member, and now she is an angel in a real sense.

Then Drops of Jupiter by Train. The song was about the guys mom who had just died of cancer. "Now that she's back in the atmosphere" started of the song meaning how he didn't feel like she was actually gone, but living in, or apart of, another "atmosphere". And that is what I felt and hope to believe is real about Dewey, my precious baby girl.

If you noticed, all those songs are more happy. Because Dewey my kitty was a quirky kitty and her bubbly life is to celebrated with tears and happy memories.

Oh, and listening to Adele sucks because when we turned on the radio after putting Dewey to sleep from that horrible hour of her screaming in pain, and carrying her in that box for her to be buried in, we turned on the car radio to leave and both main radio stations we listen to had Adele on them. One of the songs I think was Someone Like You. Otherwise it was Turning Tables but I'm pretty sure it was Someone Like You. What are the chances that those would come on right after the death of my dearly loved one. It was really bad... now whenever I hear that song it is all I can think about.

My husband has NO girls except like 2 or 3 in his family. Well, family dating back to his great grandpa. So, we are pretty sure our twins will both be boys. What are the chances of that?

My sister had twins born at 38 weeks.

You need two car seats for sure. You don't need two cribs at the beginning, because they can share for a while. In fact, they probably will prefer it! You need two diaper bags in case you take one and Daddy takes one to run errands. You need lots of diapers, wipes, onesies, and socks!
You also may want two different baby gyms when you start using those, and the Bumbo seats are really nice, so two of those. Two christening gowns.

My sister says they entertain each other pretty well!

In game you can to an extent, as long as you have not updated your game to Patch Version 1.4 where they "fixed" the previous code that caused eating or growing specific foods affected the unborn Sims gender.

In the previous versions Apples made boys and Watermelons made girls.

I believe the game automatically updates if you have the EA Download Manager installed, so if you do then you can not (aside from when making a family in Create A Sim mode.)

With my first baby, I was pregnant with twins. The egg split after the sac had formed so they were in the same sac, sharing one placenta. It was very high risk. I ended up losing one of the babies at 12 weeks. Thankfully, I went on to have a healthy baby girl (they were identical twins).

Anytime you have a multiple pregnancy there are many risks and complications. You get lots of u/s. One or both babies could potentially die. Preeclampsia and high blood pressure is common as well as gestational diabetes.

The only way you can guarantee that you have twin girls is through IVF and family balancing. This is where your eggs are removed, your partner's sperm is separated between the X chromosome and Y chromosome. The female sperm can either be introduced to the eggs in order to be fetilized more naturally, or you can have the individual sperm injected into the egg. When the embryos are developed, they will be re-implanted into your uterus. this is very expensive and may take many tries to conceive.
Not many medical facilities offer family balancing.
Any charting or dating or foods you get your husband to eat only increase your chances of having a girl by .001%, maybe less.
Clomid will definately increase your chances of having twins.

From experience, did any of you that had twins, know you were pregnant with them before you had a sonogram? If so, how were your symptoms? I know I've heard the symptoms from a single pregnancy are a little different than that of a twin pregnancy. Like more nausea with twins & everything. ive just found out im pregnant with twins due to an early ultrasound. For some unkown reason i kept dreaming i was having twins, My hormone levels were really high, My stomach is extremely swollen and ive been eating a lot more i havent had any sickness atall so you cant really go by that on my son i was sick morning noon and nite. twins are not always heridatory identical twins do not run in the family im having twins that share the same sac these are always the same sex. Twins that run in the family are fraternal twins which have separate sacs these can be boy/girl or same sex

my husband read about eating the ice cream and so i was eating ice cream snickers bars and two weeks later i was pregnant. at the same time, my sister wanted to have a baby. i told her about the ice cream theory and she started eating ice cream, and two weeks after, she got pregnant. i had my healthy baby boy in april, and 17 days later, she had her baby girl =)

try the ice cream. not only is it worth it to try and have the baby, but you can eat ice cream without feeling so guilty.

The babysitter likes to add artificial flavour to my daughter's porridge and it makes my daughter loves to eat food that make by her and refuse to eat Gerber baby food. I'm worried if the flavour will give bad effect to my daughter. What is the best food that I can make by myself to my baby? Or is there any other suggestions how to stop the babysitter from adding the artificial flavour?

Do you pay the sitter? If so, treat her as you would any other employee. If she can't follow instructions, she should be replaced. If the sitter watches your daughter as a favor to you, i.e., you don't pay her or you don't pay her very much, perhaps you need to consider how much of a favor she is actually doing you if she disregards your wishes.

At 8 months she is probably ready for table food. Start with things that easily mashed with her gums, like soft cooked veggies, fruits, well cooked pasta, and soft diced meats. My son just turned 9 months this week, he is eating almost exclusively table foods with formula too of course. As far as eggs go, doctors have gone back and forth as to whether or not they are safe, but generally speaking, if she has no personal or family history of food allergies, she is probably just fine, but if you are worried just ask your dr about it. I love the Gerber graduate foods for days when I'm in hurry, the little microwavable tubs are very convenient. However, I do have to chop up some of the chuncks of meats a little bit for my son, he is still getting used to chewing meat. I also watch the sodium content in those, some of them are pretty high, so I try to reserve them for when I'm pressed for time or at least get the lower sodium ones. One of my son's favorites is the pasta shells in cheese, it does have quite a bit of sodium, so like I said, I just limit how often he gets it :o)
