What does it mean when you bite things a lot?

I don't know why but i always have this feeling that makes me always want to bit something.
The other day I was on tumblr and out of nowhere i just grabbed my laptop charger-cord and started chewing on it. I will chew on water bottles, cords, skin around the tip of my nail, shirt sleeves, anything.
I don't know if there's a word for this kind of behavior or anything but i just want to know what's so weird about me. Please help!

It has to be so easy a baby could use it, but I want the website to be well respected. I am making a blog for a friend who is not as internet savvy as I am; so the easier to use/edit the better.
