tips getting pregnant retroverted uterus image
Q. after 5 wk miscarriage i had Ultrasound, results were anteverted uterus.

4 months later, I went to OB again for checkup and had transvaginal ultrasound, results were retroverted uterus.

could it be that the uterus position changed during early pregnancy and that I really have a tipped uterus before I got pregnant?

pls advise.

Answer
I have a tilted uterus. I was was told that it would "right" itself as the pregnancy progresses. I also had a tipped uterus with my first born- but it was tilted a different way. That said, the position of the uterus can and does change. The why's and hows, and whats of it all, I don't know.

Tips to help me get pregnant?

Q. Any tips? Plz help! We are trying to conceive.

Answer
I didn't use any lubricant but preseed (anything else is said to affect the function of sperm), tracked my ovulation and had sex on my most fertile days, put a pillow under my bum, my husband stayed in me for about 90 seconds after he ejaculated, I made sure to climax after my husband ejaculated (it creates sort of a suction), and I rested for about 20 minutes afterwards! I have a retroverted uterus (tilted) and had no problems getting pregnant (I did not need to be in the doggy style position - in fact I avoided that position when my husband ejaculated because everything would rush out when I rolled on my back to rest!). Remember that it can easily take a healthy fertile person a year to get pregnant! Good luck and baby dust!
