My fiancee and I had unprotected sex on late Friday night/early Saturday morning and he came inside me. According to my period tracker app my fertile days started Friday and go through September 1st, which I would ovulate on the 31st. I also did some research that said that in order to concieve a girl you are supposed to have sex 3-4 days before ovulation, which would of been Saturday. So I was wondering if anyone has got pregnant 4 days before ovulation and what are my chances of being pregnant? Also, what date should I test? Thanks!!

Yes. It is definetly possible to get pregnant if you have sex a few days before ovulation. because sperm can survive inside of you for up to 3-5 days after sex. so the sperm can wait around for you to ovulate and release an egg. I have heard about that technique, for getting pregnant with a girl vs. a boy. i don't really know how easy that would be to follow. but you could try it. having sex a few days before ovulation is more likely to result in a girl tho. because girl sperm lasts longer than the boy sperm does. but boy sperm swims faster. so if you have sex right when you ovulate higher chance of getting a boy. so you never know. take a test about 2-3 weeks after last having sex and that should be accurate. or around the time you expect your next period.
