i got my period on the 2 of may (my period is 30 days apart), had sex the 16 of may,i need to know a.s.a.p if i am, so can someone please answers these questions for me -
1. when exactly do you get pregnant?
2. does first responce pregnancy test really work up to 6 days before your missed period?

Answer
The vast majority of women do not have high enough hormone levels by 6 days before their periods in order to turn up on any home pregnancy test, even with the "early" tests. Wait until your period is due, or at the very least a couple of days before your period is due - however if you get a negative result you cannot count on that being accurate. Some women will take being late for their periods by 1-2 weeks before they can get an accurate home pregnancy test result. If you can't wait that long, then make an appointment to get a blood test if your period doesn't show up on time.

When do you get pregnant? Generally women tend to ovulate 14 days before the start of their next period, and are fertile for about 3 days before until 1 day after the day they ovulate. That means you had sex pretty much the perfect time to try to conceive. Good luck!

- im having cramping between my stomach and private area
-i keep throwing up in my mouth, but not in the morning.
whats going on?

Answer
First Response is one of the most effective tests I have tried, but it depends on your hormone levels which can vary between women and pregnancies. If it is testing negative and you are that early, the best thing you can do is wait. If you are pregnant it will eventually show up.

It is possible you are pregnant, but it is quite early for symptoms (so it could be something unrelated). I got symptoms quite early with my pregnancies and this last one, I had mild nausea and cramping 4 days before I was due and recognised it immediately. Sure enough I took a First Response that night and it was positive.

So yes it can show up early, but other times I have been pregnant and had to wait until a few days after my period.

I hope that helps.
