What is the trick to get a baby to unclench their hand?

She makes her fists so tight and will not let go making it real difficult to trim her nails or even clean her hands.

Any tips to open them up?

bathtub, warm water. take a washcloth and get it wet then slowley squeeze out the water from it so it trickles on the babies hand. otherwise, i just stuck my finger in the hoel i could find to clean it out. trimming nails...do it when they asleep.

My baby is almost 4 months (in a week), but lately she seems a little more fussy than usual. One night she even woke up 3 times when she usually sleeps through the night. Sometimes she makes a fist and seems like she wants to bite whatever she grabs. How can I tell is shes teething? She drools soo much! Any advice? She seems too small to be teething already...

sounds like you have entered the joyfullness of teething! Welcome!! Their is a joke I heard. " Pour a shot of whisky, rub some on their gums, and drink the rest. Repeat every hour!"
